If you had the choice.

Motorbike for commuting as opposed to cycling some of the time.

Full susser to replace a blue pig.

You have to ask? On a mountain bike forum?

Assuming you are spending £1000+ on the susser upgrade/motorbike it would seem to me you are getting more value out of the motorbike. The Motorbike is an outright addition (so adds more value to your "life")not just an upgrade (hardtail to susser). Of course with the motorbike you have all the expenses, fuel, insurance, road tax etc.

By the way what do you think of the Ragley ? What sort of riding do you do ? I'm interested in one

TBH there a lot of (motor)bikers on here too Ricko's.

Though kinda depends how much spare money you have, and if you already have a bike license/experience. You still need to budget for training/license/protective kit/tyres/insurance/etc/etc for a motorbike, where-as you can just buy a FS and ride it (with the kit he already owns)...

I loved riding motorbikes, the sense of freedom was immense, but I gave them up as I simply found the car drivers were trying to kill me every time I went out. I wish I'd found mtn-biking sooner after giving up motorbikes (though that wasn't really a conscious decision, it just happened)

I love it, not sure why I want to change to a full susser to be honest, i just have an itch. I mainly ride local around rivington/winter hill and ridden it in the lakes a couple of times, up at lee quarry etc. Slack angles feel a bit funny at first but you soon get used to it.

I want a trials motorbike, don't know why, I've never ridden one, just see the local yoofs on them and fancy a go!

Nice part of the world to ride in no matter what you choose.
Had one of my best days out last year round Rivi and Healy Nab.
