I sold my hardtail frame and then bought another, but it needs a respray, I've now decided to sell the bike when it's sprayed, so rather than spraying it up to my taste, what do you think would be the most desirable colour?

will make it worth far less as people are sniffy about a respray hiding things. You will also not get your cash back.
I would sell it as is and knock £50 off for a powdercoat
