I'm not an xc kinda guy but living in Morz and doing a lot of dh stuff - feel free to come for a ride out, more than meets the eye.

Loads of cheeky trails up above Champery, there's a few around Morgins too and the bikepark there gets better every year,we did a lot of off-piste stuff around Super Chatel and a bit around Pra la joux last year,I've got a couple of mates who live out there 8).
I reckon there's loads of the good stuff but quite easy to get lost or end up at a dead end / farmhouse, loads of guides out there if you want off the beaten track type trails.

Morgins has had a real good make over, super morz has 3 unofficial tracks opened this year - lots of sneeky tracks everywhere - alp dhuez, du alps, les alps, tignes, crans montana, pila, champery and quite a few lift tracks within an hour or pds.

depends what you want.. not sure what you've ridden / how much you want to scare yourself ๐Ÿ˜€

well I'd certainly advise staying away from PDS and going to those places as you won't find anything ground breaking here.

in order of pref starting with the most epic riding id recommend:

Dhuez
Crans
Du Alps
Pila
Les Alps

Also worth visiting:

Verbier
Beaufortain
Pra Loup
Vars
Val di Sole
Les Carroz

You been over to Morgins and Pre la Joux? Or are you saying you've done most of PdS region?

OO there is so much more stuff out there then, it's just about heading a little bti further out and not focusing on one or two runs all day (which occasionally I did find tempting).

I loved Morgins last year - it was a refeshing change to ride dead quiet tracks that were very well maintained. And its rideable there and back from morzine.

and the old Swiss DH course off the back of Pointes des Moisettes, makes me feel sick thinking about it, the trails over there are so quiet.
