I'm planning on having an explore of Mortimer Forest this Saturday. Any advice on good routes would be great.
I rode up from Whitcliffe a month ago and found some good old school trails from close to the bench at the summit towards Vinnalls car park. Are there more trails going off towards Black Pool car park?

Hard to explain exactly where but I'd say the best ones are in that direction.

Yes, park at black pool car park, head back out under the height restriction barrier, turn right and follow this fire road up, you'll start seeing trails in no time. Most of them dump back out into the car park.
Easy to link in with bringewood if you want something steeper/longer day.
