[#1531967]

maybe a couple of years ago somebody put up a great helmet cam vid of them riding down from above watendlath on the BB route (in the hail, pretty fast)

I'm almost bound to do this route at the weekend and was fancying riding the tricky bit rather better than in the past. This vid had a very different line on it than I've tried before and I fancy another look

anyone know it / where it is ? (had a look on youtube but not obvious)

Maxes vid, enjoy ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

(Best line down Birkett leap is by staying over to the right and dropping through a narrow chute halfway down "109" on the vid) ๐Ÿ˜‰

cheers,

(bugger, too late to put a "?" at the end of my title)

If anyone reads this, do have a look at the stw newspiece about the catbells bridleway "appeal" (it's just up there on the right)

thanks chaps, that's the one ( ๐Ÿ˜ฏ indeed)

... except he's obviously there on a day when it's all really flat & easy - us tourists have to ride even when it's all steep and rocky you know

Tis amazing how much that video flattens it out - there is a fairly steep bit on there.
