I've got a turbo trainer and I've been doing some runs designed to increase my overall speed on the bike.
I've got a 50 minute program that contains 3 x 5 minutes @ zone 4 (148-161bpm for me). I'm now finding this quite easy and wanted to increase the work-out I'm getting.
So the big question;
do I increase the number of 5 minute speed sessions in the 1 hour ride?
OR
do I lengthen the sessions but keep just 3 of them?

increase the number of intervals as increasing the length of time on the turbo will result in death by boredom.
