[#8142980]

Having thankfully solved the lockring issue posted yesterday, I realised I had a lockring as part of a conversion kit (centrelock to 6 bolt). Rotor all attached with lockring now but I'm getting forwards & backwards play now. Kinda feels like the play you get in cup and cone hubs when they're loose.

Do I just need to buy a better lockring like this one:

The hub I have is a dt swiss 350 centrelock hub.

are you sure it's the rotor ? I get a little of that too, but it's the
pads moving in the caliper itself !

Probably just needs tightened. Have you torqued to 40Nm as quoted on the one you linked to?

@sillyoldman - I've tightened it up as much as I can, not sure on torque as I haven't got a torque tool to check, don't want to tighten too much and strip the hub threads.

@therevokid - I had wondered that but when I put the old wheel in there is zero movement.

could it be the rivets that hold the rotor to the spider?

Brand new rotor so I would hope not. I've just tried it with an older centre lock rotor and issue is there with that too, so either both rotors are faulty or there's something else not right (with wheel or with my disc fitting skills)
