I'm organising a trip to Chamonix for myself and 6 mates for our first outing to the Alps does anyone know of a good guide to show us the best single track? Will we need the guide for the whole 5 days?
Also does anyone have any idea of the cost of a guide and the cost of the lift passes?

An official guide from the French Mountain Bike school cost us €260 for the day last year in Les Gets, he was excellent but I'm sure you could find a better deal with a direct contact.
