[Closed] Monsal Trail today - advice please

We've never ridden it, so when it stops raining the bikes are going on the car for a fun family day out.

Starting at Hassop, heading north, where are the easily accessible family friendly cafes?

Managed it without advice, but what an amazing route! The tunnels, the views, the viaducts are fantastic.

Recommend it to anyone wanting an easy couple of hours up that way.

Yes, totally agree, we were there today too, though not on the trail, just passing by.
It's been a year since we last did it, hopefully in the next few weeks we'll be back.
Did you see the Trout in the river in Bakewell?

We couldn't get across the bloody bridge into Bakewell for people stopping to look at trout!
