[#5283473]

8:15 at The Church Inn

To keep it fresh we’ll give Philips a miss this week and head further up the valley, taking in something that Terrahawk calls “The Children of The Corn”.

Bring beer money, lights and demonic child repellent.

With all this talk of crossbows, werewolves and demonic child preachers I've taken the liberty of inviting my mate Ash.

YES. YES. YES.

Apologies for my recent absences.

See y'all on Monday for bike-based bejesusies.

Full lights or will I get away with cable tying one of these to the bars?

Bring Lumens. Lots of them. See fig 1.

A few of us got caught out last week after the light faded and it was "interesting".

I assume that you'll be riding back from the pub anyway.

Another good run chaps!

We're in danger of becoming a "club". It'll be Christmas parties and monogramed ties before we know it.

Will think of something for next week and post it on here on Thursday. Probably another route out of Prestwich then Edenfield/Cragg/Turbines the week after.

Cheers all. Really enjoyed that. I'm now having a light meat salad and pitta bread (with chilli sauce) and another beer. One is never enough.

Belting run tonight chaps. Cheeky as you like. Really enjoyed it! The ten uphill miles home were a joy, and I definitely wasn't hallucinating on the last climb. Honest!

Now welded to the sofa with a beer. My legs appear to have gone on strike. Could somebody nip to the fridge for me. There's a bottle of Lambrini I've had chilling

As Binners said, a delicate procedure this afternoon prevented me from cycling. They're not as bad as I thought though, should be good for next week.

Excellent MNR - many thanks to all who pedalled along with the group. That pub looked fatastic as emerged from the clough. And the Kronenburg was spot on.

If you got a photo of a selection of cheesy nobs at Grin End you can keep it to yourself.
