Are we going to sort out a Christmas do BTW? Once we've got the Fire Work ride out of the way. Obviously.

Thank's witton and harry for your concern.
Had a big ride the Sunday previous, was too knac'd for monday and this Sunday my mum died.
Quite upset, me and Mum lived together and were very, very close so...
Any way must carry on, so will be there next monday(funeral prevailing?)
Love.T.(from previous thread)

update, funeral Monday 21st,so see you all again on the 14th.

Crikey Tanglewood. Sorry, not sure what to say.
Hope that you are ok and bearing up. Must be a very difficult time...

See you if we see you, but very sorry to hear of your loss.

Craig

Thanks wittonweavers,
It's so comforting to know that someone that you have only met a few week's ago has shown some care.
Thank you.
My mum had so many friends and I have just been surrounded by love since her death.
Still I have lost my mum so I am very upset, but being an only child, now also very busy which helps.
What a wonderfull place Singletrackworld is.
See you Monday.

If Harry [s]cries off[/s] is still poorly then I'm happy to cobble something together from the church inn if everyone else is still on?

Sorry to hear your news Tanglewood

Pity your bike's not ready as the riding around Mugdock Park is a lot better than anything around Phillips Park.

@tanglewood

Sorry to hear about your Mum.

My Mum lives with me and, even though we have ups and downs, I'm an only Child as well so I can imagine what your Mum meant to you.

Despite everything that goes on on STW, there's a lot of love on here when you need it. I met you back in August when you didn't have a light with you and we spent the time at the pub watching the sky.

I work most evenings so I will not be able to make it tomorrow, but I will try to get out on one of the Monday rides soon so hopefully will see you and the rest of the gang then.

Take Care mate

Simon

Should be out tonight - plus Neal and Tony.

As HtS isn't playing out, can I suggest a 7.30 or 7.45 start rather than 8.15?

Sorry to hear about your mum tanglewood. Hopefully a ride later with a bunch of idiots will help take your mind off things

The usual Rammy suspects will be down later to make the place look untidy. We're cheating and chucking the bikes in the van though , as I don't fancy riding 10 miles home afterwards in what looks like delightful weather

As no responses and so as not to cause confusion - keep it at 8.15.

I think that sentence accurately reflects the way the evening panned out, no?

T'was good!

Thinking of Winter Hill next week. More than likely a ride from The Brewhouse (BL1 7LG)

If anyone would prefer to organise something different then speak up now!

Looks like a good venue WW. We've got guests next week, so the San Marino would be nice 😀

Ok San Marino it will be! The route i have in mind may take 2 hours so an earlier start time might be preferable. Suggest 7.45?
