Do we have a plan? Last I heard it was The Piethorne Loop from The Wine Press, but I was too busy playing with Star Wars toys for this week’s ride so I don’t know if anything has changed.

So, provisionally:-
The Wine Press,
Hollingworth Lake,
OL15 0AZ

8:15 Blast Off
Bring money for beer

There's a real possibility I may actually be able to get out this week.

Harry - I've got the same bike, and the same helmet as you now 😀

Yeah go on then. I think I can probably excavate a functioning bike out from under all these moving boxes by Monday.

I've gone for the 650B Trigger 3 with the dropper. Should be arriving Saturday morning, so I can christen it on Sunday. I'm pant-wettingly excited!!!!!

Im in.

Dont forget that we will also be having a bonus ride on Sunday morning. Its a #Jennride and starts at 9am from the Hare and Hounds at Holcomber Brook. We will be finished in time for the hill climb competition on The Rake which starts at 12. After that there will be an auction in the Rose and Crown.

I know that quite a few of the MNPR regulars cant make the Sunday #Jennride but you can still contribute to Jenn's charities through the Just Giving pages that i have set up. Every bit helps and if we can raise more cash than the other #Jennrides then that will be good!

MNPR is brought to you free of charge so show your support and make a donation!

Please make any donations through here:

Oooh, forgot that the #jennride was this weekend, can't be missing that. Right, I'm going to fight my way into the garage right now and I won't come back until I've liberated a bicycle from it.

Can't make Sunday unfortunately, but I've checked with everything and everyone that I can think of (ie the missus) and afaik there is nothing that will mean an inability to pitch up on Monday and get stuck in. Looking forward to it.

Who’s in?

The weather looks clear and still, if a little chilly. The view from the top of the lights of [s]Vegas[/s] Rochdale should be spectacular.

I'll be there if I can summon up some motivation. Struggling to be honest though. Although now I know WW is keeping a log I feel under pressure to not leave a gap in his spreadsheet.

Good stuff. I had to send him a note from my mum, doctor and Rabbi because I missed last week.

In a rare moment of competence I’ve got a print out of the route to avoid the usual helmet scratching when we get to the 5 way junction before Moo Cow Gulley and the drop down to the Rugby Club. I just need to remember to bring it with me.

I really fancy this tonight, as not only do the conditions look perfect, I feel a strong bond with my Cannondale Trigger riding compatriot. But its looking unlikely as when I finish work, I have the small matter of a pub to clear of all my prints and associated gubbins, after yesterdays Jennrid/Rake auction shennanigans.

If I can't make it tonight, I'll be out Wednesday or Thursday if anyone fancies it?

Did I mention that I've got a new bike? 😀

I'm torn at the moment and probably wont be there tonight.

On the one hand i really fancy riding as im enjoying it a lot at the minute. on the other hand im suffering from too much beer yesterday! That coupled with the fact that the A666 will be closed when i come back (making the night even later) might just mean i cant be ar$ed this week...

Thats right! i will know...

I'll also know how far you have been, percentage climbing, weather conditions and moving time versus riding time. All carefully crafted in to a series of graphs and pie charts...

So when is the MNPR annual review meeting? I want to know what my attendance target is before I get demoted.

Is the pre-Christmas t-shirt printing going to become an annual AGM thing too? I might actually be able to get a new design together before then

The Church in Prestwich? Will Craig be producing a PowerPoint presentation, and if so will the speaker notes be available so I can prepare questions?

At the AGM can we make some more rules? the two we have regarding what day to turn up, and the beer money thing seem woefully inadequate. There aren't even any sub-clauses.

You can never have enough rules. Maybe we could have something about crisps?

Rule 2. Clause 2.
- Bring money for crisps too if you want to buy some crisps. Or perhaps a pie.

Good enough?

I'm currently erring towards riding but not bothering with the pub...

I seem to remember last time there was an enforced "not bothering with the pub" thing. Because they shut early.

Is there a pie-chart on your data reports for non-pub attendance?

Did anyone else notice the dusty hand prints on the bar maid's ass?

Really glad i made the effort and came over last night!

Also glad that i got away early and got home for a sensible time this week - still feel knackered this morning though!

One or two little gremlins last night with the bike and my lights. I'm sure the bike will perform better as soon as it gets a good clean!
