1100 volunteer hours in 2012 alone!
Went for a ride round Delamere forest, it wasn't 'that' wet or muddy!!
My mate had what was meant ot be a short go on my Kinesis FF29, loved it and is now a convert to big wheels, saying that for that kind of riding (rooty single track with short sharp climbs etc) the big wheels just make sense ๐
I rode his 26" wheeld inbred and it was bloody awful by comparison
no piccys but a good road ride with Dorking cycle club with a stop for coffee and bun half way round and a solo trip up box hill to finish ๐
40 soggy kilometres on road Saturday. It was good to escape the build up going on at home. Yesterday was sacrificed to traffic by the M25. Queues due to an accident on the opposite carriageway causing the roundabout to jam solid.
Quick early blast of north'n'south loops at Whinlatter.
Wind was too fierce to stop for photo's, ended up with very wet, cold feet. Friendly peeps about.
Fantastic start to the christmas break.
Christmassy things on saturday, working yesterday ๐
Through Bolton, down the Canal past the Mecchano Bridge into Radcliffe, down the old Railway to HTN land, forest bank, back home along the roads.
30 mile in total ( more in fact coz I nip to Halfords before getting the Garmin out ) was knackered when I got home
Oldfarts social Pre Xmas bimble around Bristol trails.

Above Oxenhope on Sunday, blowing a hooley!
Local back-country lanes, trying to avoid the worst of the rain-damaged pot-holes.
I know it's a 'traditional' road bike, but look at the state of the road; there's nothing quite like 700 x 23 at high pressure to spice up your riding!
