Xmas ride number 2 last night, ended prematurely for me with my lights failing. Rode home, got my commuter and met the other lads in the pub! Happy days ๐Ÿ™‚

Went for a ride round Delamere forest, it wasn't 'that' wet or muddy!!

My mate had what was meant ot be a short go on my Kinesis FF29, loved it and is now a convert to big wheels, saying that for that kind of riding (rooty single track with short sharp climbs etc) the big wheels just make sense ๐Ÿ˜€

I rode his 26" wheeld inbred and it was bloody awful by comparison

40 soggy kilometres on road Saturday. It was good to escape the build up going on at home. Yesterday was sacrificed to traffic by the M25. Queues due to an accident on the opposite carriageway causing the roundabout to jam solid.

Through Bolton, down the Canal past the Mecchano Bridge into Radcliffe, down the old Railway to HTN land, forest bank, back home along the roads.

30 mile in total ( more in fact coz I nip to Halfords before getting the Garmin out ) was knackered when I got home

Local back-country lanes, trying to avoid the worst of the rain-damaged pot-holes.

I know it's a 'traditional' road bike, but look at the state of the road; there's nothing quite like 700 x 23 at high pressure to spice up your riding!
