Very lucky with the weather yesterday, so headed over to the Sheffield side of the Peak District.
Rode down Stanage Plantation for the first time (walked the top part).
Some brilliant single track through the woods at Blacka moor. Finishing with a cooling drink at the Norfolk Arms, with our riding buddies.

Classic loop in the dark peak taking in Derwent edge, bamford, Aston, Hope jaggers, roman road etc. 20-25 miles and lots of ups and downs. A great day out.

Went out for a long ride at Woburn, got 5 miles in and the heavens opened. Not seen rain like it for a while. All the singletrack turned to streams, you couldn't see what your front wheel was about to hit. Monsoon stuff!

No riding 🙁
45 mins on the turbo sat.
55 mins on sunday. Cleaned my RB and acquired some Krysiums for it as the Ultegra rear hub is rather rumbly and I fear in need of cups / cones and bearings so went down the replace route .
Watched the Catalynua GP and mooched about rest of the day.

20km run on Saturday, bit too hot for my liking but that's central Spain in summer I guess. 107km road bike ride on Sunday, with a little over 1000m climbing. Also a bit too hot at 31C.

Nidderdale round on Sunday. It was riding beautifully, even if I wasn't.

No riding for me but drove an Audi R8 and a Ferrari F430 with my Dad on one of those experience day jobbers.

The forks for my C456 build arrived and if I hadn't slept awkwardly and hurt my neck I'd have built and ridden it already!

Friday - taught my daughters (3.5ish yrs old) to set off by themselves on their pedal bikes - success!

Saturday - 6 hour Combe Raider epic across Exmoor - headwind, great descents, cheeky trails, showers and big cheese 😀

Velodrome last night with Ms S, Ninkynonk, Mr Overshoot, Marin and others of this parish.
Great night, cheers for the invite Mark, hope you're better soon.

Others being Russell96, Higgo & PaulModern.
As you said great night, good to have a chat (well sort of panting chat anyway) and I promise not to leave another 25 years between track sessions!

Twas an excellent evening and the day before a quick lap of Llandegla which was pretty quiet for a Saturday.
