[#7026356]

Looking at buying a Monarch RL, but a friend has told me that Rockshox shocks are prone to leaking air randomly. A quick bit of Google-foo does show that people have moaned about this, but most of the threads I have read from the searches are a few years old.

So is this still the case or are the newer RS shocks leak free?

It was the swivel valve that was the issue.
Mine have been perfect since then.

Was the design of the swivel valve changed with the later models (not sure what the year is, but it has a black shaft)?

Or did you fit an aftermarket one/fix the standard one?

Anyone got any pearls of wisdom regarding the swivel valve?
