Hi, a year ago I bought an XX in M-M tune for my stumpjumper to replace the terrible brain shock. To begin with all was well, really happy with how it felt. But then I realised that the rebound adjusts itself due to the remote moving the knob. This was compounded by the damper adjustment being far too sensitive. I can go from pogo stick to very over damped in less than 2 clicks.. it has always been this way.
Anyway, I managed to keep it in tune but then it started doing it again (or so I thought) at the weekend I realised that I am now only 1 click away from full rebound setting, for sure it is getting less.
Is this a leak? has air got in (I cant hear anything at all)?
Do I need a full rebuild kit to solve this?
The shock does seem to expell quite a lot of oil past the main air seal, so maybe its leaking internally, what could be the leakage? I dont want to completely strip the shock if I dont have to.
