Can anyone local give an idea of ground conditions please?
Weather looking good for tomorrow - just wondering if there's any snow/ice on the ground
There was mid week higher up say above 250/300m ASL below it's usual muddy conditions.
Noel Arthur, famaue ect have a little bit of white at the top, but not much, think I will be up there tomorrow
Wet, some snow on Moel famau. Expect most places to be wet and slippery. I'll be up there on my local loop on Monday ๐
Mtfu lightweight it's only a bit of snow, bet ur mates are tolerant lol
Passed twice today, a lot less of the white stuff on the range now, however Famau top covered in thick grey cloud- snow or possible rain ๐
Thanks for the info guys
Its fine, we did a 32k loop on Tuesday including some "cheeky" stuff to get us up to Jubilee Tower, had a number of comedy offs but no damage apart from a twisted seat rail. As per previous post, tops have snow but only enough to make it interesting and fun and lower parts are either, muddy, firm, wet, icey or a mixture of all the previous.
All the snow and ice has gone, bar a hand full of patches high up, it's back to the usual Clwyds winter conditions.
