Don't know how to add the link 🙄there's a company re packaging the grease into a 500G pot for little more than the price of a small cartridge. Anyone bought it from there ? How could you tell if it's the real stuff? Picture looks genuine

If it's just for bike use then it'll take decades to use 500g.

Life's too short to ponder such things, just buy a cartridge 400g MOBIL Mobilgrease, Version: XHP 22, £8.99 from AutoDoc

I've bought some of that - seems genuine to me, though I have no way to test it really.

Same here. Looks like someone who has access to 50 gallon drums of the stuff.

My pot seems genuine enough

C Bennis?

It's not a bad price, but also, it's not so cheap as to raise alarm bells

I've bought several greases and oils from C Bennis, always appears legit. As has been said, I also assume they buy in bulk and repackage.

Ooops, that was the first link

You can find it cheaper and with click and collect too if you're in Birmingham 😁.

It's available for a reasonable price if you're concerned about bona fides 👍

I had a genuine tube of it about 12 years ago and then bought one of these from that seller about 2-3 years ago and not made much of a dent in it. I do remember the colour being ever so slightly different but I guess that could be down to age, batch etc… The texture, thickness etc all seemed to same. And well… I’m still here to post about it, so nobody has died 😂

I’m still working through a tub that’s 10 years old. Pretty sure it’s genuine

I have some, seems legit. Budget for using gloves with it though, because it stinks!
