In an exercise of extreme wishful thinking, Monday's excuse to go for a pint late on a school night will be a rerun of the infamous Rammy snowmageddon ride. If the weather lets us down, then prepare for the Somme.

Bring money for beer or prepare your sicknote for Sunday evening/Monday morning. Leader tbc once Binners has submitted this weeks excuse 😉

I'll be there. Honest! Not been out for weeks, and I'm getting bored of spending every evening staring at a mac. Snow forecast for Sunday here, so fingers crossed. 😀

I’m looking forward to a snowy ride. Can you make sure the roads are clear Binners, even if you have to get out there with a snow shovel.

Snowmageddon is definitely GO!!!

We’ve had a load of snow already, it’s sticking, it’s really coming down at the moment, and it’s forecast heavy snow for the rest of the weekend 😀

How is the snow?

For the first time in 13 days I haven't got industrial waste coming out of my face, so I may be up for it!

Its snowing again, and we've had a fair amount already. Should be belting tomorrow. 🙂

Andy... we had a double whammy, as me and you reccied the route the day before on that beautiful crisp, sunny, bloody freezing afternoon. Still two of my favourite rides EVER!

just had a look back at the photos....

I’ve put flat pedals on the hardtail in anticipation. Saves me getting unclipped every 2 seconds to dab. 🙂

Did I just see on the BBC weather forecast that -12 is a possibility for tomorrow night? 😀

Given our record this year I don't think we should be bragging about our resistance to the weather 🙂

I’ll be there but the conditions in many places around Peel Tower are treacherous. Walked the dog round there this morning and there is plenty of ice. And some snow, on top of ice.

yeah bridleways are icy but the up on the moors is prime time, you can completely straight line across all the bogs to Pilgrims!! i imagine interstellar will be pretty quick today!

That's the planned route mahalo. Moor Road down to Robin Hoods Well, up to the trig point at the top of Bull Hill then comedy, out-of-control sliding down to Pilgrims, interstellar, then down through Redisher woods for a pint in the H&H

Actually... the H&H will have mulled wine on, won't they? How frightfully festive 😀

I'm having it. I don't care if I'm still spitting up luminous space-bogies™.

See you there.

Have a pre-emptive mulled wine. If I remember I'll bung my hip flask in for a snifter at the top of Bull Hill

See you later. Oh.... usual 'I'm not riding down the hill just to turn round and ride back up it again' conditions apply. I'll see you up at the Shoulder

Was really hoping to make it out for this as the last snow ride was so ace, but annoying work nonsense has got in the way. Have a good one, and nobody break anything!

It was domino toppling from start to finish, not helped by our somewhat wayward 'line choices'. The bridleways were like glass in places. It a tough call for biggest comedy moment on the ice.

Daz's dismount within 10 yards of setting off, followed by a sort of improvised 'Strictly' routine with his bike, trying to get back on it, was probably beaten by mine and Harry's synchronised pirouette and dismount when within 20 yards of the pub, which was almost Torville and Dean-esque in its execution 🙂

An absolutely cracking ride though 😀

Daz won. Our synchronised pileup didn't actually happen because nobody saw it. Apparently.
