I love my toolroll way more of than is logical. It’s only for bike fffs. But I do like nice tools.

I have the Silca T-Torque tool and find pleasure every time I use it. And now they have brought out somethint that might finally oust my Park AWS-1. Need. Feel sad for wanting. Retail therapy. Black December.

" Most tools in this layout feature 4mm, 5mm and 6mm keys; meaning that the wrenches for some of the most common use cases in cycling are readily available in one tool. "

Yes but is this tool 4,5,6 or not. I like the gamble.

That is lovely.

I’m just in the process of upgrading all of my adjustable spanners from imperial to metric.

Is it just me who can't stand Y shaped tools? Surely that is't going to fit in a tool roll either?

Did you not read this bit.

Ypsilon is customizable and adaptable to the mechanic’s preferences. We were able to do this by using a ¼” bit collet with magnetic attachment in place of the 6mm hex wrench which detaches. This departure from the traditional Y-wrench design was inspired by the versatility of our T-Ratchet + Ti Torque kit, and means that Ypsilon can easily transform into any tool you need simply by swapping out the bit. The other two ends of the tool are 4mm and 5mm hex keys.

It's nice, but Y-wrenches are still stupid

The old ones are the best 🙂

Never liked y wrenches even in a shop environment.

My aws-11 on the other hand while wasn't the first choice of tool when in the workshop never left my side on the shop floor. Probably the most used tool I had. I tried to change it to a y wrench but it just too aukward a shape to carry on your person for making adjustments.

Ooh, I like that.

I'm guessing there will be very little difference between the $ and £ prices, which is the only off-putting thing.

Mind you, the Ypsilon Home Kit is even sexier.

Have they not just turned a "always have in your pocket" tool to a "going to have to walk to the tool chest to get the right bit" tool?

Similarly their allen key set with a biht holderthat slips on the end of one of the wrenches.

Small footery bits have no place in a workshop.

The silca swiss army tool is nice nice though.

Keep hinting for it... No luck yet

Y handles are a bit mleh, they work but not always the best tool, personally I prefer T handles and have to admit the Silca folio set does look the business(at a price though).

I think that is PBSwiss.
