not he first - mmmbop headset is 1.5 top and bottom
do you have tapered forks?
whoops wrong link! supposed to link to the G3! Try clicking it again.....
commenting following the new link, I think they are both the same but that #1 is for when you have a short steerer and so need a low stack
* I have very little knowledge and experience, my recent mmmbop build being the frst Ive done.

Is that the case? I thought it was to give more adjustment to geometry, irrelevant of steerer length because it has no top cup and sit inside the frame making the front end lower.....hmmmmmm
Bit more cash but went for this one as it seemed very sturdy and well made, stack height wasnt a concern and its a nice deep fit into the headtube.

Very pleased with it as its smooth well sealed which considering its the brats bike the low maintenance aspect is good.
Getting a little stack height on top helps, the Mmmbop has a pretty high top tube so if you run low rise bars and not much stack your controls may hit the tube on rotation.
Go hope every time
Usually I'd agree but when I stuck my Hope one in the Mmmbop, that was when I found out about the zero stack/bar clearance thing, as the Hope is zero stack up top (can be +10 underneath). Course, you can add spacers but that starts to look a bit silly. Or higher bars/stem.
the mmbop is designed for high rise bars iirc
