Ok so the rubber felxable bit has now finial had it and perrised and snapped of the alu stay. Anyone one think of some bodges to fix it? Was thinking of squashing a bit on tube and putting it over stay and rivet to mudguard.

I found the best way was to remove the remnants from the bike (which took a lot less time than fitting), place them in a large rubbish recepticle and buy a better product.
