Hi,

I have a pair of Deore-ish level levers (M575) with knackered calipers.

I also have a pair of XT level calpipers (M765).

As far as I can see, the pistons in both calipers are the same diameter, but obviously its tricky to measure this accurately....

If I pair them together, will I die?

Thanks in advance....

BOAS

They will be fine.

I know someone who runs a Shimano lever with a Hope caliper filled with mineral oil, although I'd strongly suggest you don't do that.

I believe Jared Graves runs XTR race levers with Saint calipers, its a not an issue.

Cool. Thanks for that.

Will report back on success (Obviously if this is my last ever post then you'll know that it wasn't successful.....)
