I have some 2011 or 12 29er Rebas that are 100mm. I'm wanting 120mm of the same ideally with Tapered steered. There are a pair of 26 Rebas for sale on here, so the question is, can I put the 26 uppers into 29 lowers and get the forks I want ?

I think you lose 20mm or so travel, in a similar vein if you put 140fox uppers on f29 lowers you get 120mm travel..
I think..maybe..allegedly.... 😉
They changed the guts of the reba as well as lowers and uppers in 2012, thus your damping and air assembly wont stretch out to 120mm.
Have you opened them up to see if there is a 20mm limiter inside? Are yours the model with sag measurements on the leg?
