Any cheaper alternatives to Shimano!! Was it Citroen? Or am I best sticking with the same stuff the brakes came with.

LHM from any car factors - citroen use it in their brake systems. Halfords sell it.
some will tell you there are minor differences and you must use shimano for the additives it contains.

I use the LHM TJ references above, seems okay, but I'm told it's thicker than the OE stuff. Not sure whether it makes any difference in practise.
