Swapping bits from one bike to another, and stuck on middleburn crank removal, have self extracting bolts, how do I remove the buggers?

Undo them with an allen key and, as you unscrew the bolt, it should push against the outer part of the self extracting ring bit and cause the crank to come off.

Or do you mean removing the self extracting bolts themselves from the crank arms?

Removing everything so I can get at the bottom bracket to remove that too, then install everything on new frame.

If they're self extracting then undo the centre bolt (8mm Allen key?) then the crank should come off. Failing that get a crank removal tool! I have one here if you're stuck!

Cheers can't get the bolts undone, lacking in strength I think? Shame everything else has gone over a treat. Have a crank puller cheers Sheldon but would have to remove the 6mm bolts first. Bum!

Same problem here. Very tight.
Just to be sure, do you have to turn the centre allen bolt anti-clockwise to remove?
