So the twins are old enough to be left on their own for a few hours every Thursday night. Me & the beloved wife fancy starting date nights again.

An ideas for around North London ??

Night ride. When it's warmer a night ride via some quiet woods....

Take her up the Oxo Tower?

Not on a first date, surely?

A walk along the south bank in the dark is always great. Take your pick of eateries.

Ha. Wondered how long it would take for someone to say that.

On a serious note

Me and the Mrs do this every month...as well as the 'standard' meal out or gig etc we have had a couple of corkers in the form of an argentine tango class and a massage course for both of us... Seemed to do the trick

Leave your Mumsnet glossary abbreviation grab-bag of bollocks where it belongs, yeah.

The only, and I mean only Mumsnet abbreviations that are appropriate outside that terrifyingly insane forum are:

VBAC; and
ODFOD

Clear? 😉

Go and see the big concrete dinosaurs at Crystal Palace. They are rad. Easily the best thing in London if you don't like gay bathhouses and meth.
