Whick one to pick, black or hardcoat grey?
I want black to go with my colour scheme, but will the hardcoat one last longer?

On the subject what tool to get the lock ring off, it only has two holes.

Lock ring should have 8 "slots" for an 8 prong BB tool.
I've run both and I'd say the hardcoat does wear a bit better ... but it doesn't seem to make a vast difference.

You'll probably notice the looks a lot more than you'll notice it not wearing as much. Go black.
