Are thoroughly recommended in this heat. I didn't plan to, it just seemed the right thing to do, mid day, in a lovely meadow. The ride, kinda lost its pace after....

Rarely do it on a bike ride but love taking a summit nap during a long day walking in the hills.

No 😆😆 no comfy chair. What I suppose I meant is how the hell you get to sleep in the middle of a bumpy field.

Yep. I've done that a few times.

I remember being roused by a very worried looking rambler half way up Ard Craggs in the lakes after I'd stopped for a doze. She thought I'd keeled over and died.
