Anyone else see It? , Micky and his mate take a tour round France on their bikes In a kinda Billy Connolly humourous fashion . the first episode was good with a ride over the Roubaix cobbles and a trip through the Flanders war sites.
I thought It was pretty decent to be fair and definately worth a watch.

It looked to have all the right ingredients; I like bikes, I like Mickey Flanagan & I like france, but I was left thinking Mleh...

It's just following a tired old formula of a TV person with sidekick travels round places I'd like to see, being a bit whiny or in awe, and cracking the odd crap joke or being miserable:

Hungry Italians
Various Karl Pilkington series
James May & Oz Clarke booze tour
Steve Coogan & Rob Brydon
Etc...

It was, but it's still a tired old formula, which unless there's something particularly unique it ends up being like Groundhog Day.
