^what he said. Mine looks similar to that after a year of hard riding. The side knobs are showing some superficial cracks at the base and all the sipping has worn off the knobs. I've never had a maxxis or schwalbe tyre last long enough to wear that much!

That looks near new to me.

Anyway, I need to be fair and update my past comments on the Wild Enduro durability. After first sudden degradation signs, they seem to stay stable wear wise so far. It's a very different behaviour compared to Maxxis, where you get a progressive wear rate. The Michelins just seem to wear a lot on the first few weeks but then stay that way, if this makes sense

No it'll be fine, my front tyre has gone the same way and been that way most of the year!

Mine never got that far, I had more punctures in the few months I used them for than I have had in the last few years. Gave up, put Maxxis back on. More grip & no punctures.

Positives? I guess they are cheap.

Still going strong on mine and soon to be seeing a new bike ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm actually exited to be able to wear a set of tyres out rather than slashing them to death!

Just gonna throw it out there and jinx myself. These are the only set of tyres that I've not managed to stick a hole in yet... You hear that Universe?!

I bought mine for France this year which was a Covid write off.ย  They've been on through a summer and have shown similar wear.ย  I'm wondering whether this is partially due to the dry weather we had meaning less give in corners -> more pressure on the side knobs.

I've replaced them with my usual which is a set of Exo Minions (stuggled to find Exo+ or DD at a reasonable price) plus trying some Rimpacts and am saving the Michelins for next summer's trip away.ย  I don't have a big issue with punctures / tears as south based so don't ride much in terms of sharp rocks.
