Both road and mountain bike helmets need replaced. looking at the met crossover currently on wiggle for £27.99 anybody got any experience of this or suitable alternatives.

Any helmet with a removable visor is a cross-over (although I don't wear a visor when off-road either).

i've got a massive head, my crossover is a tight fit.
the shape of the visor is really off-putting (i don't understand how that's even possible).
the strap/adjustment widgets aren't as good as my other (older) MET helmets.
i took the visor off permanently, it's now my 'road' helmet, i'm happy with it considering what i paid...
