[Closed] Merlin Service

Merlin are fantastic. Bought loads recently cheaper than CRC and Wiggle and got it all next day.

Sent me the wrong tube twice recently but fixed the problem quickly and with good humour.

Thought i'd just add some more Merlin love. Bought the wrong size seatclamp and Merlin not only exchanged it free of charge but also did a special order from Hope to get a size they don't advertise.

Havent a grumble from anything Merlin do and as others say cheaper than most. Used them for years.

To bring some balance to this I had shocking customer service from them. I've told this story before but after ordering some forks online and them turning up damaged I took a trip to the shop where I was confronted by one of the most miserable and unhelpful gits I've ever had to deal with. He tried to tell me the forks were fine even after I pointed out the damage then stormed off to get another pair. Got these home and they turned out to be mince. It took me over a week to get a return email and this was only after I threatened to out the shit service on various forums.

Maybe I was unlucky but not everything they touch turns to gold and I'd only use them for smaller stuff now.
