I recently purchased some Ergo GP Biokork grips through Merlins eBay shop. When they came ( the next day) they were the standard grips in black and gray. I shot them an email and they replied the same day telling me to return them and they'd ship the correct ones.
The following day Biokork grips arrived on my doorstep before I'd had chance to get the others to the PO. Also 3 packets of High5 Energy Source.
Pretty good service don't you think? Has anyone else experienced this type of service. I was pleasantly surprised.
And yes. I have sent the others back.

A while back when they had avid brakes on offer to buy either front or rear of various models.I bought a front CR and they matched one up for the rear for me that wasn't even on there list for the same sale price of £50... Absolutely superb gang over there... 😉

Had a few very good experiences with Merlin when returning items.

Most of their components are OEM (hence good prices) but they're always happy to help out if ther is a problem.

As an aside Leisurelake bike sent me the wrong Csixx chain proctector and they also sent me a replacement without waiting for the return of the wrong sized one (along with an extremely nice and very apologetic and personal apology).

Both really good service and can't fault either of them!

I like Merlin a lot. They don't send too many emails, but when they do, good quality kit in normal sizes is usually offered at very good prices; their sales seem believable.

I also actually like the lack of choice on their website, it's not like they uploaded every component in the catalogue without thinking about what people actually want.

My Internet bike shop 1st choice also.

Great prices, great delivery speed.

Only a few miles up the road too so also my LBS favourite too I guess.

+1 for lack of choice. Makes decisions much easier. Who needs to wade through 200+ saddles?

I try and order from Merlin even when they arent absolutely cheapest. Just always had a good experience with them. Think you've hit nail on head as to why they are so good, they dont try and stock everything, just what works in the real world. And their email shots are some of the only ones I always read.

They'll steal your dust seals and use 'em as cock rings on their little winkies.

Great service following one issue i had with them over a damaged frame; they actually asked what could they do to make things right. To this day, i don't know if they have released that dwarf from the wheelie bin.

I've only had good experiences with them too and for forks they seem to be one of the cheapest online stores in Europe.
