I'm looking to get a 29er as a second bike and like the look of this http://www.merida-bikes.com/en_gb/bike/2013/55/MTB+Hardtails/Big.Nine+TFS+300 the price is in budget but I can not find any reviews on it. Has any body got 1 or ridden 1 or can point me in the direction of a review.

Just look at the geometry and compare it to other 29er bikes or bikes you like that you've ridden.
Bet it doesn't stay as a second bike 😀

the 17" version is on the big size, going by the sizes compared to my large cube - i would think if your anywhere around the 6ft mark the medium would be just right

I was looking into the 900 previously but struggled to find any review. My understanding is that are only just landing in the shops.
