Riding the Cheddar Challenge next week - never been to the Mendips before - so looking for guidance re tyres and local conditions please?

Its been dry enough to be firm even when the top develops a film of slop recently, so any general tyre will be fine. Unless it rains from now until the event, don't do mud tyres.

Thanks chaps.
Would be reluctant to use my mud tyres anyway as they are veery draggy.
I look forward to the "film of slop"... 😐
