[#7584904]

Just about to book some accommodation in ADH for the mega and as it's our first time just wondered how we get back to ADH at the end of Practicing each day, after Quali etc etc

I don't know the area at all 😕

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

We will be driving to ADH so have a car but would prefer not to drive around each day unless thats the best option.

Is ADH the best place to stay?

Thanks in advance

I think staying in ADH is best, it certainly makes the early start for qualifying easier, and signing on etc...

There are pretty regular coaches with bike trailers from Allemont to Oz, then you can get the lift up to (I think) Chavannus and its a five minute ride back down to ADH (along the quali course).

I didn't drive my van from arriving until leaving.

ADH is by far the easiest place to stay for most of the week.

The only time it's an issue is on race day, waiting for busses from Allemond back to Oz so you can get the lift back up to ADH.

Oh, and don't miss the last coach because you thought you had time to fit in one last beer in Allemont, its a €70 taxi ride back up the hill. I am speaking with experience! 😀

We are staying at Chalet Bruyere, which is about halfway between the sports centre where you sign on, and the top lift in ADH, its cheapish and happens to be conveniently located next to a decent bar.

Thanks for the answers, accommodation on ADH just fell through but I'll keep looking and get somewhere there!

I quite like Allemont as its warmer and missing the last bus isn't an issue.
