Where is best place to stay for the mega, I'm thinking of alp d heuz, want to be situated practaly for cable cars, registration, opening part!!!!

Been twice with a big group and got one of the nice chalets up by the airport. Bit out of town but a simple roll to the main lift.
Top of my list would be alp d'heuz as the main lift for race is there and the registration etc.
It's just for me I'm just in final stage of booking apartment in alp d heuz just wanted to make sure I was in the best place as I'm driving over but didn't want to drive much when I'm there, where do you register is it the sport centre ??
was a few years back, they hard a marquee in the car park. You shouldn't need your car for the week, just make sure you are not waiting for the last bus out of Allimont. Do a shop at the hypermarket in the last big town before going up the hill.

For the last couple of years, sign on is in the sports centre and lift passes withdrawn from the main lift office by where people free camp.
