Help please.
Anybody able to provide a standover measurement for a medium soul running forks set at about 110/115. I would prefer it measured from the top of the top tube dead centre between the seat and headtube.
Just trying to compare it to my lads current bike size for a possible future replacement.
Cheers
What I can tell you is I'm just short of 5'10" and find the standover on a medium just right with a set of Reba SLs on.
I'm 5'-6" and standover on a small is fine
My Simple is 31.5 inch or 800mm to centre of top tube measured with revs set at 115mm
Hmm...
Thanks for the replies, it confirms what I thought the medium is borderline on being too big, which is a shame as I have a mint medium Soul in black which I bought off here a few months back. Time for some serious thinking, looks like a search for a small may be on the cards.
Oh well...

I was borderline between the 15.5" and 17" Dialled Alpine. After much wringing of hands I plumped for the small. It was a shade too small which was a shame as it is truly a great frame. If you are borderline I really would try one.
[edit] Hang on, you've already got the frame? Why not just build it up with the bits you are going to use and try it?
Yeah Coyote I think the best way will be to build it and go ride it. I was just trying to save the trouble of building it but this afternoon I stuck a headset and a set of Revs and wheels on it so I could mock up the stand over height it is a bit tight. That said the top tube length feels fine and the last thing I want it to be is cramped.
So as you say best bet is to fully build it, put some miles on it and then decide. Its mainly going to be used for trail and xc so no need for it to be realy chuckable and I hate the look of small frames with half a metre of seat post sticking out.
