I need the cage for a long XT shadow mech'
but can't seem to find anywhere that does the spares
Mech' and wheel interfaced coming down Pen-y-Fan yesterday, the rest of the mech' is looking OK though, so hoping to save a few £, if I can?
as I need the wheel rebuilding too, oh and new shoes too
after another incident on Saturday, managed to rip the ratchet strap off of a pair of Mavics 😥

find someone selling on ebay.. second hand..
ratchet.. contact mavic distributor/local shop.
XT Shadow cage parts are 5W7 9805 (£20) and 5W7 1000 (£8) and can be ordered through any good bike shop.
Just got txt from the trusty LBS, new cage £14, here tomorrow and wheels fixed 8)
I didn't explain the shoe bit well, the plastic strap that goes through the ratchets been torn off of the strap that goes over the foot, the ratchet it's self is OK
I Gaffa taped my foot in each day for the weekend
I might try to bodge it back on somehow
