: GS cage should be used with single and double chainsets only

a few of my mates run a medium on a triple, looks neater. just dont do big/big. i run a long tho.

It depends on the chainset you run.
If you run a double you should run a short if you run a triple you need to run a long.
There is no such thing as a medium cage XT mech, its long or short.

dirtynap - thanks for that, I am on a triple, so will order long. CRC describe the 2 options as medium or long, Merlin as short or long...... 😆
