As per the title really - how are roadie bar widths measure - is it across the outside to outside of the bar, or is it centre to centre like most other measurements?

(My degree of potential numpty-ness depends on your answer....)

Thanks

I think more manufacturers now use the centre to centre measurement.

P.S.
Is your back is getting better. Hope to see you riding again soon.

Had a tentative couple of laps on the Cotic around Mapperley yesterday - back pulled a bit but survived.

Legs very sore this morning though!

Will attempt to commute to work on "Son of Ribble" tomorrow - a more stretched road bike should kill or cure it. Have grave doubts I'll be riding the Tour of Britain Etape in September now though, as I'm away for a fortnight next week.
