Im in the proccess of selling my rp23 shock on ebay etc. Im getting a lot of peeps asking me what the measurements are. I know that i need to measure the shock eye-eye and the stroke is the exposed part.. I presume i make this measurement fully extended? ๐
From the vaults of Singletrack.....

First picture in third post down, measure fully extended.
Cant you also put in the add what bike it came off?
Yeh i did that.. theres no info anywhere on internet about sizes etc though, apart from stroke.. tried measuring eye to eye but not sure how accurate this was as mm can make a difference.
If it helps shock sizes are, in inches and mm:
6.00 x 1.25 >> 152x32
6.50 x 1.50 >> 165x38
7.25 x 1.75 >> 184x44
7.50 x 2.00 >> 191x51
7.875 x 2.00 >> 200x51
7.875 x 2.25 >> 200x57
8.50 x 2.50 >> 216x64
8.75 x 2.50 >> 222x64
9.50 x 3.00 >> 241x76
is it a really obscure bike? It's also worth listing what tune it has, was it factory fitted?
Its a gary fisher roscoe 3. I know it's a 2.5" stroke.. looks either a 7.5 or 7.75".. phoned lbs and there going to try and find out..
