shame he tried to cirumvent the fallout of the EGM by seeking nomination in Switzerland, wholly in keeping with his shonky attitude.

Plenty of questions over Swiss nominations, firstly whether he can seek nomination from 2 different federations in the first place and reports from someone on the Swiss Cycling board that no vote actually took place...

Who are the 74 who voted for? Have they read nothing in the cycling press recently?
Interesting to see how he responds...

a lot of the 74 votes were based on what he did years ago judging by the comments they made before the vote.

According to sticky bottle, everyone on the "inside" on Cycling Ireland, the board and the various commissions, voted for him - about 32 votes. various conclusions can be drawn from that, but the guy is clearly not as incompetent at the political side as he is at the rest of the job. if he does get the swiss nomination, i still feel he has the ability to win the election, by all means neccessary, and may take his revenge on British Cycling

Same all over really, people in positions of power will do anything to hold on to it.

Deos cycling need an Arab spring?

That's shocking! So it's road that's had all the doping issues, not MTB. I'd love to hear their reason for voting 'for'
