Hi guys ๐Ÿ™‚ whilst pedalling hard in a hard gear my pedals slip forward with a loud crack sound. Doesn't do it all the time but quite a bit ๐Ÿ™ I've checked the chain, pedalling backwards fast results in easy movement so im ruling out a stiff link. Any ideas? Thanks.

What freehub is it? I had this happen once on a hope bulb so I stripped it down, cleaned it and regreased it and it fixed it.

The chain hasn't had much use and the cassette the same. Its a dmr revolver hub. I have just removed the wheel and there seems to be excessive play when i wiggle the cassette. Is this a bearing or freehub replacement?

Check the cassette lockring is tight first
