I would like to know how the bike handle in the climb in comparison to your previous or other bike? How is it on tech rocky section.. i.e CYB rocky section bits... I was after for 120mm travel carbon, but gonna wait for the xmas period to purchase. Thanks
Have a look on yetifan forum, they're not all mega fanbois, some normal people there too!.
Too many reviews actually but looking after personal ones that has no holds barred point of view.
Cheers for pointing me out to yetifan, forgot about that 🙂
I demo'd an SB95C last March during a weekend-long torrential storm. Every trail I rode was so sloppy that I barely managed to get past about 5mph even on descents. Plus, as the weather was so abject, I was reluctant to get off the bike to sort out what was obviously not enough air in the shock. Despite that, it was a useful demo. I found out that a medium fits me like a glove (5'10", pretty normal reach, average leg length). It pedals perfectly happily and requires the "normal" extra lean into tight corners common to other 29ers. I'm a bit of a sloppy peddler; that, combined with that lack of air in the shock, meant that it bobbed a bit as I struggled to force it through deep mud. But I reckon it would have been fine otherwise. Pedal and Spoke have a couple of brilliant yellow SB95Cs on sale – on built up, one frame only:
