Have put these on my E bike as drag isn't so important. On a whim I've put the wheels on my normal bike.
Considering the wheels they have swapped with have 500g 2.0 tyres I'm amazed at how well they roll. Not had a chance to try them in mud but everyone seems to love them.
Is there a downside to them, why doesn't everyone have them?

They don't make a tan wall version so far as I know.

I don't think that's a downside mind. But some people might, some people are fools.

Work fine, wear fairly quickly. Decent enough. The boy used them for many DH races

Have always run them on the front of our DH bikes . Work all year really. Not brilliant in dusty hardpack but you’d expect that.

I put a maxx grip shorty on the front of my bike. Made it up the 30 min climb twice and was aching in the legs for two days after.

Did it on my specialised black diamond 2.6 four times and was fine the next day.

That's why they live in the shed for the depths of winter

All the grip, all the rolling resistance!

Not so great in the dry but great in loose and wet.

Shorty or Shorty 2?
DH22 is the best front tyre I’ve ever been used, if I had an e-bike I wouldn’t use anything else.
