attempting to fit a mate his new tyre tonight using only a halfords foot pump.....
are these easy to mount??? didnt manage to do it for him on a MK 2.4ust last time 🙁
will it be any easier with maxxis tyres, any tips etc appreciated as no compressor to help us 🙁
any help pleeeease, its a brand new tyre too which seems to be even harder from what i can gather
any pointers hugely appreciated 🙂
Mounted Ignitor LUSTS on Shimano 776 wheels and High Roller LUSTS on ZTR Arches with no issues with a trackpump. Should be fine.
If it's a ust tyre on and 819 (ust rim), it should go up with a mini pump.
If not then something's wrong. The bead should seal to the inner channel of the rim even without any pressure, such that it goes up straight away and pops out onto the edge of the rim as the pressure increases.
Make sure the rim is really clean inside before starting.
yeah ust tyre on on ust rim, couldnt for the life of me get the MK on last time though, may try cleaning the rim and inside of tyre first with soapy water....will give it a shot anyways 🙂 thanks guys!
