How they don't all say they're the eXception series on the carcass? Just curious after my 2.25 Aspens don't say owt other than 'Aspen' but all the others do...

That's what I'm curious about as Aspens only come in eXception casing.

could just be that as they are a race tyre then couldnt be arsed to print it or that the tyre being new uses a different compound in the first batch or something like that

what did the packaging say? mine had it written on it clearly

Mebbe, packaging was blank. Although website clearly stated 62a etc etc. They feel the same to touch, I'm just curious as they're cracking tyres (but not in the mud).

Go for a ride, if they puncture within 25cm they're the exception versions... ๐Ÿ™‚

i think maxxis rubber is far less prone to puncture than schwalbe or bonty tyres, i use ralphs and mudx which puncture more
