Which do you reckon?

I'm looking for a tyre I can keep on all year. Mostly dry but the occasional muddy ride.

I've been running 60a for a few months now. Riding 4-5 times a week (about 150km) and they're still looking good. Aren't 70a the XCeption series? If so, I've heard they have paper-thin sidewalls.

Never thought I would be able to tell the difference between 60 and 70 durometer and in truth, in the dry, there's little to choose beteen them. Where I have noticed it is in the wet; the 60 durometers do hang on a little longer.

Is the 'maxxpro' compound 60a?
If so, then I'd recommend that, since it seems to grip really well on wet rocks etc for me and hasn't worn out too quickly either.

based upon my experience of 70a and 60a cross marks. the 70s are like riding on ice in the wet.
